Spit-jack (clockwork)
Clockwork spit jack (Tompion), complete with winding handle, drive bar and corn-shaped lead weight. Brass faceplate has scrolled fret work decoration. TOMPION stamped on inside of crwon wheel. Made as an apprentice piece in Tompion's workshop.
