Dated circa 1950 - 1955; made of metal, wood and rubber; automatic cabbage transplanter pulled by a tractor; metal frame with 4 metal seats; metal driving wheel; one pneumatic tyred whee; attached to tractor hydaulics by 2 point linkage; wooden box at top to hold cabbage plants; conveyor belt system of spring-loaded mechanical fingers to hold and plant cabbage plants; coulter and 2 metal plates to open furrow below; 2 sloping metal wheels to close furrow after planting; from Cowbridge, Vale of Glamorgan.
