Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
)Plate of soft-paste porcelain; standing on a straight sided foot rim, cushion moulded and curved spreading sides, lobed lip with six large and six small lobes moulded with c-scrolls, ribbon-tied flowers and foliage; painted in the centre with a classical type vase, standing on a three footed pedestal with serpent handles in dark green and gilt, containing a single large pink moss rose with foliage to the left hand side and three buds, two opening, to the right; gilt band around lip.
