Vase, bone china, with a creamy white translucency; standing on a square plinth base, a narrow pedestal foot with a pronounced ridge above, slender ovoid shape with a concave curved neck extending over the shoulder and flaring at lip; two handles formed by a monopodic female wearing a crown with outstretched wings, terminating with a moulded acanthus leaf; one side painted with growing polychrome flowers in the foreground, with a vase on a tall plinth, in a Classical landscape setting; other side painted with a spray of pink roses in full bloom; frieze of flowers around the base of the neck with wavy trailing gilt foliage and small polychrome flowers above; gilt plinth and pedestal foot, gilt bands to the shoulder, and interior and exterior of the lip, gilt handles.
