Upper Palaeolithic flint core rejuvenation flake
A blade fragment, most probably a core rejuvenation blade. It is hard hammer struck from a plain striking platform. Only the proximal end survives. There is no evidence for retouch and the piece has broken across a flaw in the flint. The core edge shows a lot of core preparation. The piece has a white patination.
