Auger
A twist auger for boring holes 3.5cm in diameter. It comprises of a bit (the cutting part), on a shank which ends in a tang to fit into a wooden handle. The handle can be removed for use with other augers. The screw lead at the tip of the bit pulls the auger through the hole, reducing the amount of pressure required.
