Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Dish, oval, soft-paste porcelain with a pale buff translucency; standing on a straight sided foot rim curving into flared spreading sides; lobed lip with six large and six small lobes, moulded with c-scrolls and ribbon-tied flowers and foliage; groove moulded cavetto; painted with six flower sprays around the edge, in shades of pink, red, and puce, with green and pink leaves; gilt band to the lip ( worn ).
