Post-Medieval pottery bucket handle cooking pot
Bodysherds from a bucket handle pot. A fine fabric, well fired, with occasional white inclusions and large quartz grits. The fabric appears mid to dark grey in colour with a reddy brown unglazed outer surface and a very dark brown /green internal glaze, reaching almost the rim in places. The twisted handle survives on a none joining sherd.
