Teacup and saucer, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain, the cup with a pale yellow translucency, the saucer with a deep blue-green translucency; cup standing on straight sided foot rim, rounded sides flaring slightly at lip; loop handle extending above the lip; saucer on a rounded foot rim, with curved spreading sides; both painted with an all-over pattern of single pink roses and blue convolvuli; gilt bands to lip, and foot rim, and gilt detail to the handle.
