Coal cleaning plant, photograph
Black and white photograph showing coal leaving the washer at a coal cleaning plant.
This photograph shows the ends of two of the booms where the coal is loaded into waggons. When the plant is working, the coal travels along on an endless belt, and falls into the waggons as the belt passes round and under the roller.
