Roman samian bowl
There is a lion running to the right over grass-tufts, with trees or vines forming dividing motifs. The lion is basically a Germanus type (Knorr 1919, Taf. 34, 23) and the scheme of decoration is influenced by his designs. The vessel is the work of a considerably later follower, like the potter who stamped GERMANI SER.
Dr 37 is a hemispherical decorated bowl
