Teapot and cover
Teapot, hard-paste porcelain, inset base, globular body, plain curving spout with a metal fitting to the top, plain loop handle, round slightly domed cover with to the top a nipple-topped finial and a pierced steam hole to one side, the cover attached to the teapot by metal chains running from a metal collar around the finial to the metal top to the spout and a metal collar around the handle; the exterior body of the teapot, the underside of the spout, the handle, the top of the cover and the top of the finial decorated with an immortelle pattern in underglaze blue.
