Roman samian bowl, decorated
A worn sherd with decoration which includes the S-motif of Cettus, the small-S potter (cf. Rogers, S.72) and an abraded ovolo which is probably his also (cf. S. & S., fig. 42, ovolo 1). A poorly impressed worn and fragmentary animal facing right could be a running lion.
