Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Dish, oval, soft-paste porcelain; standing on a straight sided foot rim curving into slightly curved sides with a wide everted lip; lobed lip with six large and six small lobes, moulded with c-scrolls and ribbon-tied flowers and foliage, and groove moulded cavetto; painted in polychrome enamels with three mixed flower sprays and one small spray of blue convolvuli in the centre; c-scroll moulding around edge enclosing three butterflies, cherries, a peach, and flower; gilt scalloped lip.
