Cream jug, white earthenware with clear glaze, Midwinter's 'Fashion' shape F13, the triangular-ovoid base is inset, rising to a body of the same overall shape, slightly flaring, streamline pouring lip and a strap handle looping upwards from the rim and joining at the mid-body; transfer printed on both sides of the body with the 'Oranges and Lemons' pattern in orange, grey, dark brown and shades of green, comprising a naturalistic rendition of two oranges beneath two lemons, both fruits on the vine.
