Seal impression: Personal seal
An allusive seal: A maiden in a long girdled dress with padded head-roll, kneeling on a bank or ridge (‘ryg’) replemished with sprigs of foliage and flowers, and holding by a strap over her left arm a shield: quarterly, 1. and 4. Three bucks’ heads cabossed, RIGMAIDEN; 2. and 3. On a chevron a crescent for difference, between three estoiles pierced. Her right hand holds a helmet bearing a crest: A unicorn’s head. In background, a wattled hedge with trees. In foreground, a talbot or small dog sejant reguardant contourny. Legend on a scroll, the words separated by cinquefoils, the G and E are conjoined
