Jug, earthenware, inset base within a flattened-off foot-rim, globular body, cylindrical neck, plain beak spout, scrolled foliate moulded loop handle; the exterior of the jug and the interior neck and spout covered with an olive-green ground, this then transfer-printed in black with to either side of the exterior body rural scenes showing figures in parkland settings featuring country houses, sheep, lakes and trees, the scenes enclosed by silver lustre borders, to the front of the exterior body a stylized star-like motif in silver lustre, silver lustre bands around the lower body, exterior neck and interior and exterior lip-rim, the spout and handle edged in silver lustre, the silver lustre to the handle very worn.
