Roman pottery bowl
Red ware with imitation Samian slip. Imitation of Walters 80 (cf. Ludowici Sp and Sq - Ludowici, iv, p. 245). For a somewhat similar form cf. Corder, Crambeck Pottery, Pl. ii, 32. The Samian bowl dates from the Antonine period onwards (O. & P., Pl. LVIII).
