Tea-caddy and cover
Tea-caddy and cover, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a flat base, baluster body divided into six vertical panels by raised ribs, circular, flat top cover; decorated in polychrome enamels and gilt with a panoramic landscape spanning the six panels, these comprise: three figures in elaborate hats, two men loading a boat, a seated man facing away, a man standing with a stick looking away, two figures next to water, a tower with two figures, gilt border to ribs and rim; cover with a circular harbour scene on top, three central figures, barrels, packages on left, birds in sky, with a gilt circular border, gilt border to rim.
