Pardoe, Thomas (1770-1823)
Teacup, hybrid-paste porcelain, with a yellowish buff translucency; standing on a straight sided foot rim, London shape, with an ogee handle; painted with a frieze of flowers on a dark almost black ground, including pink roses, and white convolvuli; pale salmon pink band above the foot and inside the bowl, below a band of gilt trailing leaves and wild strawberries; gilt band to foot rim, interior and exterior of lip, and gilt handle.
