Roman samian bowl
Four small sherds from a bowl. The upper zone has a simple scroll with five pointed rosettes, and there is a middle wreath of small triple leaves. The main lower zone is almost entirely missing, apart form a very small bird O.2284 A. The rosette is paralleled on Knorr 1919, Taf. 23, 24 (Coelus), and the triple leaf could possibly be Taf. 23, 19. The tiny bird may be a blurred impression of one used by Mommo but this is uncertain.
