Roman samian bowl
Samian bowl sherd. Dr 29. South Gaul. Upper frieze only, with panel design. Two hanging festoons, contain symetrically opposed spirals, which end in rosettes. This motif is repeated after a panle of arrowhead leaves with its top cut off by diagonal wavy lines.
