A collection of words and sayings by George Parcell, Treboeth, heard and collected by him from the Treboeth area of Swansea, as well as his responses to the Welsh Folk Museum questionnaires on the subjects of the body and health and the weather. Answer Books (1958 onwards) Answer Books were sent out by the Welsh Folk Museum in 1958 to individuals across Wales as a way of collecting and documenting information on aspects of folk culture in their areas, including agriculture, crafts, food, customs and dialects. The responses were hand-written in the books. The Answer Books had a similar purpose to the earlier questionnaires sent out in 1937.
