Seal impression: Royal
Obverse. The king enthroned, but differing from the First Seal in the arrangement of drapery, in the ornamentation of the throne (the uprights terminating in fleurs-de-lis), in the absence of the broom plant, and between the king’s head and sword, a crescent; between his head and orb, a sun of sixteen rays, a very early appearance of such symbolism. This is the last seal on which Anglorvm appears, thereafter it is replaced by Anglie.
