Post-Medieval silver badge

Five fragments of silver badge in the form of a cockerel, made in repousse technique out of thin sheet metal, and externally engraved to provide to provide crisp details of feathers and wings. There are the remains of four wire attachment loops soldered to the reverse, one at the back of the head, one on the tail, and two on the 'ground' the cockerel stands on. There is a plain scroll running beneath the cockerel's breast engraved with the motto 'Si deus nobis/cum...)'if God is for us, [who can be against us?]'-Romans 8.31) in neat lower case italic script.
