Candlestick, chamber
Chamberstick, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain; saucer stand with tapering foot rim curving into straight spreading sides; loop handle with serpent head and forked tail, with a thumb spur; sconce indented at base, with flared everted lip; painted in polychrome enamels, with a frieze of wild flowers including forget-me-nots, and strawberries; inner circular border of gilt and green leaves and berries, and on sconce lip; plain gilt band to lip and base of sconce, and gilt handle.
