Roman copper alloy Hod Hill brooch
This brooch has crescentic cut-away ornament to either side of the narrow plate below the casing for the pivot. The bow is decorated with three flutes and has laterally projecting lugs at its base which terminates in knobs. The plain foot is broken. Mid-1st century A.D.
