Medieval silver gilt finger ring
Silver gilt decorative ring with five circular/discoid bezels
The ring has five bezels, each engraved with an alternating sequence of motifs (simplified square quatrefoil set at an angle, closed-circuit interlaced strands, elaborate quatrefoil, simplified square quatrefoil set at an angle, and closed-circuit interlaced strands) and separated by cast brambled ovals. The inside of the oval hoop is plain.
