Cup, coffee and saucer
Coffee cup and saucer, soft-paste or hybrid porcelain, the cup with an orange translucency, the saucer with a pale green translucency; cup standing on a straight sided foot rim, waisted above, rounded bowl flaring prominently at lip; high c-scroll handle closed above the lip; saucer set on a flat unglazed base, rounded spreading sides; interior of cup and saucer painted with small flower sprays alternating with gilt anthemions, a central rose on a bed of gilt moss; exterior of cup with a wide border of white and gilt overlapping scallop-edged medallions on a gilt ground; gilt band above foot rim and inside lip, gilt handle.
