Producer: Kaendler, Johann Joachim (1706-1775 Started work at Meissen 1731.)

Figure group comprising two embracing lovers seated in a bocage and a Harlequin offering two cups on a tray. The girl wears a blue-green petticoat reserved with gilt sprays within orange and black borders, a pink skirt lined with blue and a white bodice painted with purple and gold flowers,over a maroon stomacher. The gallant is dressed in white stockings, red breeches reserved with gilt spray within green and yellow borders, pink waistcoat painted with gilt flower heads and a green coat lined with yellow. The Harlequin wears white stockings, pink breeches and a yellow jacket patterned with flowers in red and purple. The bocage is encrusted with white S-petalled flowers, also strewn on the oval base, which is ornamented with scrolls,heightened in blue-green and gilt. Upper part of bocage missing.
