Handcuffs
Set of police handcuffs used by an officer in South Wales Constabulary in the 1970s. With a leather pouch and a steel key.The cuffs are of plated steel, and stamped HIATTS MADE IN ENGLAND. They are connected by 2 chain links. One cuff is stamped 1349, the other has a label stamped with the same number. The pouch has a strap and a metal stud fastening to secure the cuffs and is stamped PC 1349. There are two slots cut into the reverse of the pouch to enable it to be threaded onto a belt.
