Early Bronze Age bronze tanged spearhead
Early Bronze Age tanged spearhead of Davis' (2012) Group 1 form and of Arreton Down metalworking. Near complete with a distorted tang with circular sectioned rivet remaining in position. The blade has bevelled shouldered to give amaximum width near to the base. Little of the original edge survives but they appear to have been straight, converging at the tip. The spearhead faces have median bevels giving a lozenge section.
