Dillwyn & Co., Swansea China Works (1814 - 1817)
Plate, soft-paste porcelain, greenish-yellow translucency, a ' duck-egg' type, with some tears and a slightly pitted pale green glaze; press-moulded, everted lip, the cavetto with shallow concave flutes, shallow foot ring; on-glaze brown stipple print in the centre comprising a crest of a Latin cross rising from a five-pointed antique crown on a wreath of mantling, the rim enamelled with a broad band of dark brown an inner line of a lighter tone.
