Teapot and cover
Cabaret teapot and cover urn-shaped on a pedestal foot; decorated with applied acanthus leaves on the foot below a beaded collar, lower part of the body modelled with gadroons, further acanthus and beads at the lip, scrolled and curved double handle with spindles and moulded florets, short curving spout; flat-topped conical cover with pointed bud finial above a beaded collar; body painted on each side with a spray of four pink roses and two butterflies, three smaller sprays on cover, rim with a continous band of flowers between gilt line borders within beading; spout, handle, finial and foot around acanthus leaves gilded, formal gilt flowers and foliage in gadroons.
