Teapot and cover
Teapot, bone china, octagonal form with straight-sided foot-rim, bulbous sides and sharp shoulder, octagonal curving spout, square-shouldered handle, octagonal domed cover with to the top a finial modelled in the form of an acorn with a leaf and stem; decorated in pink and red enamels and gilt with around the sides of the body sprays of oriental flowers, around the shoulder of the teapot and the sides of the cover an elaborate shaped border of further oriental flowers against a spiral patterned ground, a gilt band around the foot-rim, the spout, handle and finial picked out in gilt.
