Dessert plate, soft-paste porcelain, good translucency with greenish tinge, the glaze with slight blue inclusion and specks of grit; circular, standing on a shallow footrim, flat, with low cavetto and plain everted rim; the centre printed on-glaze in black with a parrot perched on a stunted tree, overpainted in enamels, the rim with a rich on-glaze blue ground between two worn gilt lines, scattered with gilt ermine tails, and reserved with three shaped rectangular panels each printed and painted with a bird in a landscape, and with three oval medallions, two decorated with butterflies and one with a beetle.
