Seal impression: Norwich Episcopal
Within an elaborately carved gothic-type niche with vaulted ceiling, and standing upon a corbel carved with grapes and foliage, the bishop in pontificals with finely worked mitre. To either side, a shield: dext. a lion rampant (ANCIENT DUCHY OF BRABANT AND LOUVAIN: Birch), sin. a lion rampant within a border, PERCY. Beaded borders. The legend shows the mid-fourteenth century change from Lombardic Capitals to Black Letter script.
