19th century. Two ply woollen yarn. Reverse twill weave in solid light brown colour for main body, birdseye pattern, with single band of alternating navy and brown birdseye forming border around all four sides, solid block of navy at each corner formed by crossing bands. Ends hemmed, selvage at sides. Central seam. Colours: light brown warp and weft threads at edges and in main body; navy weft threads in top and bottom border bands, navy warp threads in side border bands
