Counter-relief. Continuous design: eight-petalled flowers within circles, each within a square, each square within a grid. Chester; 11 Watergate Street, St Johns Church (Rutter 1990), 119/188); Rushen Abbey, Isle of Man (Jewitt 1885, no. 4) ; Haughmond Abbey (Lunt & Lisk forthcoming no. 167). cf. 756, also 753-4, 761.
Pale yellowish green slip with thick white slip beneath. Upper surface has black pitting/speckling. Glaze has run onto one edge and onto the lower surface of the tile.
