Early Medieval pottery cooking pot
Fragment from a cooking-pot with rolled rim: Form E1 or if Campbell is correct rim of jug with strap handle, 62.203/E231. Medium hard, well gritted fabric woth little grog. The inner surface is creamy-buff, but the outer surface and the core are bluish-grey.
