Sub-circular flat spindle whorl with jagged edges and heavily pitted surfaces. Central perforation.
Viking Age lead spindle whorl from Llanbedr-goch, Anglesey, north Wales. 850-950 CE. The same technology was used to spin wool for thousands of years.
