Dillwyn & Co., Cambrian Pottery (1811 - 1817 and 1824 - 1850)
Soup plate, earthenware, standing on a slightly convex base, rounded sides , flaring to form rim; the rim moulded with eight lobes, with raised moulding of shells and acanthus leaves and reeded outer edge; freely painted in the centre with a wreath of flowers in red, green and underglaze blue, encircled by a thin red line, the moulded shells alternately in red, blue and green with red banding to outer rim.
