Early Medieval human remains
The inhumation of a probably female adolescent (aged 15-18). Around 75% of the remains survive in a moderate state of preservation. She's from Burial Phase L: 886-1160 AD.
She was buried in an extended supine position orientated Northwest - Southeast in a simple gravetype.
Two associated artefacts are some calcified animal bone and iron slag. The burial is associated with four other burials; SK19.8, SK19.9, SK19.15 and SK19.17.
Her teeth show caries, calculus and dental enamel hypoplasia
She also showed signs of healed cribia orbitala and porotic hypertosis
