Iron Age / Roman antler peg
Large pag made form a beam with the brow and bez tine removed and the shaft shaped to a rectangular cross section along ost of its surviving length. The tow opposing flattened surfaces of this section are highly polished. The remains of a perforation are visible at hte broken end.
