Pearlware plate, transfer printed in underglaze blue, dense border of diamonds and lappets, centre of plate printed with 'Miss Isabella Rowland.' under cavetto, '1794' below; central motif of medallion containing a robed elephant, and with a complex border of arrows, musical instruments, flowers and foliage.
