Plate, soft-paste porcelain, with short foot rim, shallow curving sides, spreading rim and a shaped edge with high lip; painted in enamel with "Hans Sloane" decoration of cacti with large puce bloom and fruit, one piece of fruit is detached from the cacti and has opened revealing its seeds, around the cacti are a couple of insects and a butterfly; glazed.
