Oatcake rack
Wooden platform on four short legs with spindles back and curved top rail. Iron shield on front to protect platform against fire and two metal strips nailed on platform to support the oatcakes.
Car bara ceirch (oatcake rack), Llanllyfni, 1850s. Used to dry oatcakes in front of the fire.
