Plate, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain, with a green translucency; standing on a foot rim curving into flared spreading sides; painted with an Imari style pattern, a rich underglaze blue border with three oval reserves of stylised iron red flowers on a white ground, between three white and red florets on gilt stems; an inner band of iron red flowers and foliage divided by three small underglaze blue and gilt segments; in the centre a medallion of iron red and white floret; gilt lip.
