Jug, greyish-blue salt-glaze stoneware, partly decorated in underglaze blue, rounded foot in pewter mount, short stem, baluster body, gadrooned below a columned arcade ornamented with seven coats of arms, for Scotland, Denmark, England, Holland, Zeeland, Munster and Hesse, each inscribed below, and with the Mennicken house mark, gadroons and diaper panels to the shoulders, neck ornamented with three masks in oval cartouches between strapwork panels, strap handle with rolled terminal, shallow domed pewter cover, hinged, with shell thumbpiece and acorn finial.
