Early Bronze Age flint plano convex knife
Knife with marginal scalar retouch along both lengths. Unpatinated. Plano-convex flint knife. It is made on a black, unpatinated flint blade on which there is no cortex surviving. The striking platform is plain with a highly pronounced cone of percussion. There is some hinge fracturing of the blade at its distal end. On the dorsal surface the retouch along one length is scalar and steep, whilst that on the other length is marginal. The retouch runs the entire length of both sides.
